Before the day of the party, go to the store and get a few potatoes and jars. If you have a large group, you’ll need more potatoes and jars. The catch is: you need the potatoes to be large enough so that guests can hold them between their knees. Yet, they need to be small enough to fit inside the jars you pick out.

Have the guests line up on one side of the room and place the jar on the other side of the room. Each guest will need to take a turn. Have the guests hold the potato between the knees and walk across the room to the jar. The potato must go into the jar or the guest is eliminated. Each guest who ends up getting the potato in the jar scores a point. Once everyone has a turn, those guests tied for points will go again. Challenges are to continue until the game has a winner.
