The Name Game: A Classic Favorite to Help Moms-to-be

When you start looking for games to play for a planned baby shower, you will notice how many there are. However, you’ll find that the best games are the ones that are quite simple and has guest communicating with each other. If you are looking to find that simple game but what something that will get the guests to talk to each other, look no further than “The Name Game.”

How to Play The Name Game
Part One: Each guest will choose two baby names and write them down on a piece of paper.

Part Two: Each guest will then have to come up with words that are three or more letters long using the two names they have. If a letter is used once in a name, it cannot be used twice in a word.

Give guests a time limit, anywhere from two to five minutes.

The Name Game Twist

Want the game to last a little longer? Have each guest keep their two names to themselves. Have other guests guess what two names a person chose.

This game gives moms-to-be some choices on names. This is especially helpful if a mother is stuck on what to name her unborn child.
